This is my favorite coffee shop in DC! I’m super picky about coffee because I have a bad reaction to high acidity beans. However, their Brazil roast is delicious, smooth, and leaves me feeling energized. They also have great cookies and croissants. The only downside I can think of is the atmosphere is a little boring, but I don’t mind since I usually get the coffee to go.
Roasting plant is such a cool place to come for coffee. Their whole JavaBot system is so intriguing, and honestly quite interesting to watch as you’re waiting. The staff are always so friendly and the coffee is top notch. Love that you get to pick your own blend for each individual cup!

Best coffee in DC. I always go with Brazilian beans—I’m obsessed with the flavor and taste. Ever since I tried it for the first time last year, I only buy my coffee from Roasting Coffee.
I like to travel a lot and try coffee and pastries everywhere I go, and we Saudis are known for our love of coffee, desserts, and pastries. Every time I go to cafe them, specially morning, my first choice of pastries is a butter croissant, as I don't like other flavors or for stuffed croissants, but I didn't find what I wanted, so the beautiful girl (sorry, I don't know her name) told me that they have only chocolate and almond croissants, and that both are good, so I chose almond croissant. I would like to say that despite these experiences I have, this croissant is the most delicious croissant I have ever tasted in my life. The filling was very delicious, I don't know what it was, but I I felt in love with it. I advise you to try it. I also ordered a cappuccino, and it was good as well. There is also a water tap to drink with cups for free, of course. This cafe is integrated. The atmosphere of the cafe was also calm, and the staff were wonderful. Thank you.
